Another trend that is continuing is the Eagles winning. Everyone likes that trend. A trend that did come to an end this week was the Pats winning. Pats are still world champions and the team to beat, but the I'm liking their chances this year. TO is a MONSTER.

Pittsburgh will dismantle the Eagles just like they did the Patsy's.

the person plays both TE and RB (mostly TE though), thus he is considered both, and thus allows me to put him in either spot.

another stunning victory for the Kupo Kommanders, defeating yet another top team contender! From almost dead last to begin the season, to a projected 5th place after tonights game.. only one place behind playoff contention!!

All fear the Kupo Kommanders!

I have to admit something back when i was new to fantasy football and didn't follow the NFL (I do now thanks to this league) I traded Trent Green and Tiki Barber for Brett Favre! Trent Green is now making similair numbers to Brett Favre and Tiki Barber has a serious chance at MVP.

Anyone wanna trade a good RB for R.Moss and R.Droughns? Yes I am playing Strikeforce Justboy this week should break my 3 game losing streak. Also what order would you draft players in I just joined this NFL 4th quarter fantasy league? I was thinking RB, QB, RB, WR's, TE, K, DEF.

Mr. Moss is hurt and out for awihle. Droughns is badass though.

I'd definately take a RB first and then a QB and then I'd go by what's available.

meh, i already offered up Dunn for Moss straight up, without even adding Droughns to the equation, but you declined it..

Definitely draft a RB first, except for one case that i can think of.. if Peyton Manning is available for your first pick, definitely pick him first. your first RB of choice should be Priest Holmes, though currently i think he has an injury that might sideline him for a week.

I said good RB, Dunn is struggling a lot in the second quarter of the season and Moss has more fantasy points than Dunn and he hasn't played since October 17.

I normally try to draft 2 running backs and then go for WR's.
As long as quality running backs are available I take them, you can always trade them for something you need. If I'm doing a live draft I also almost never draft a QB till last. You can usually pick a decent average QB near the end. In most leagues it's the RB's that are the key to a good team. I totally screwed the pooch on my list draft in this league  . Guess I should've done like Eni and not modified the original rankings.

i told him not to. Hes to foolish and doesent think things over....  When moss gets back he will be worth keeping him.

besides i need a new qb...

heh. Dunn is one of the top 10 RB's.. but hey.. i have no problem keeping him.. you're the one with the 3 game losing streak

however, the offer still stands.

Why would you if Ninjavanish gets Randy Moss he will most likely take your playoff spot. It felt like there was an apple stuck in my throat when i saw trade pending. SG please veto trade as it only serves to benefit one team.

Since I didn't want to deal with nonsense like this, it is up to the players to veto trades and I can't change it back.

I voted no, and I think you might need 2/3's, I'm not sure.

Why? Drew Brees is playing insano.

Says 1/3rd. Need 1 more! Im already really solid in the QB position with Favre. If one of the owners involved in a trade doesnt like it i don't understand why you wouldn't vote against.

No owner will engage in any action that may be deemed to be collusive (two or more owners agreeing to make moves that benefit one team, but not the other).

Ya the 1/3 rule isnt very fair considering only 1/4 of the players even check their accounts. And considering the majority of active players voted against the trade surgeon general should veto it or vote against the trade then i will have 5 which is enough to stop the pending trade. There is votes against the trade from skip, thee, deuce, and myself.

I would like to take this time and let everyone know something up front!  Since Killer is like a brother to me he has passwords to my life.  I will never touch my team or even visit the site, let alone trade anybody!  If any trading or any movement or messing with my team occurs, I CAN CALL THE BROTHER OUT WHO DID IT!  Killer has indicated some shady thoughts lately and I'm calling KILLER out!  KILLER has infiltrated my locker room and is thinking of messing with my guys!  Yeah you heard it I have security looking for him right now!  It's time to come out of the locker Killer and expose yourself for the real person you are!

I scraped a win despite the fact I didn't notice Robinson was suspended

Btw how come you play some teams twice and others only once? Or does the season continue past game 15?

The NFL (Regular) Season is 17 weeks long. 16 Games + 1 Bye = 17

For our league, the playoffs are week 16 and week 17. Well that leaves 15 weeks for the regular season. You can't have 15 different opponents if there are only 10 teams in the league. So they have to make up the difference somewhere.

Hope this doesn't confuse you more Grounded but....
Some leagues would split the teams into 2 divisions of 5, you'd play everyone in your division twice and the balance of the games against the other division. So you'd play 8 division games, 5 against the other division and 3 weeks of playoffs. However most of those types of leagues you have to pay for. This one was free so I'd imagine SG didn't have much choice in how the league was setup. This type of setup more closely mirrors how an NFL teams schedule is actually set up.

Both games were relatively tight. It's a pretty weird system where the winning team places fourth in the league setup though...

The main reason I lost, is the fact I didn't feel like checking it. I didn't realize my QB and one of my running backs weren't going to play until the game started and I never bothered to pick up a new one. If TO didn't get hurt, they probably would have still played the final games.

It's not at all like the World Cup. Although PKs are indeed a bit harsh. There isn't really any better alternative though.

I didn't say it was like it, just that it too was weird.

Let me put it this way.
The way the fantasy league turned out seemed perfectly normal to me.
Just like a cup match ending on PK's is normal to you.

I was happy with the way the league turned out.  I felt my team's performance reflected their skill, not my management prowess.  I have learned, however, that "funny name = useless player".
