ya i was looking at electric RC Cars b4 i got this one but they where over$1000 so i just got this one for $650 but its so much fun and fast (85mph).

Nice. I've always wanted to build my own guitar, but I have not the tools or the know how.
Well since you built this, you obvious chose to place what I believe is your volume control so close to the bridge. That's way to close for me, I'd always be moving it when I didn't want too. Also is that a Kahlar bridge? It's not a Floyd, its not fixed/looks of the floating type.
What kind of music do you play Slight?

meh i mostly enjoy playing hockey, and tennis(with thumbtrigger), wathcing football, cs and other computer games. Attending lan events. Usually just the one here in edmonton but its really fun laughing at the.. errr well the smart gamers, uberness nerds, lol. And photoshopping is really fun though i havent really been doing it in a while.
well last post since im going to mexico today (cheers for me lmao ). but really see you guy later im going to soak up the rays. (eni i did go tan for your information therefore im not whitey! lol). maybe ill post some pics when i get back.

I put the volume control there purposely so that I can do volume swells with my pinky and not have to alter the way I pick too much. Yes, that is a Kahler bridge, and it is fixed. I prefer a fixed bridge, I've never been a fan of either the Fender style or floyd rose floating style bridges. One thing that bugs me about a floating bridge is when I bend one string, the remaining strings change frequency slightly. Try it, bend your 'B' string on the 15th fret from a D to an E (1 step). Then pick your low E or high E string, and you'll see that they are now slightly below an E because by bending the B string you have pulled on the bridge and removed some of the tension on the other strings. This is not a big deal in most cases, but for some of the Jazz that I play I do a lot of double bends and harmonies, and a floating bridge just wouldn't work.
As for what type of music I play, I'll play just about anything, from Jazz to rock to metal to bluegrass to blues, even some country (old school stuff like Johnny Cash and such, I hate today's Country). I also play drums and bass, and I'll get on the mic every now and then, after I have a few beers in me.

Ah, fair enough, the part right below the bridge looks like its cut out and I thought it was recessed and not fixed.
Yeah, I know floating bridges aren't the greatest, but I'm in love with my wilkinson bridge. It doesn't let you do quite the crazy dive bombs and such as a floyd, but it's very stable.
That's great that you can play most anything. I hope to be one day be able to play a wide variety of stuff, but right now it's mostly metal and rock. Jazz and their crazy chords scare me.

I don't know that I've heard enough of Rage to really comment on Tom - although what I have heard I liked. I think the band as a whole to be very unique, almost to the point of groundbreaking. I don't know what amount of input Tom has in writing or production, so I can only comment on his guitar work from a purely technical standpoint. He is good, but not extraordinary.
Trey Anastasio is - in my humble opinion, one of the best all around guitarists there has ever been. No one, outside of perhaps Steve Vai or maybe John Petrucci (Dream Theater), can seamlessly move from Scale to Scale, from emotion to emotion, or from genre to genre as well as Trey can. Phish's forte, of course, is it's trademark 'tension and release' moments from it's live performances, and Trey is at the forefront of almost all of those moments. The only fault that I have ever had with Trey is his almost non-existant vibrato....most of the true masters, especially towards the blues/rock side of the spectrum, have perfected bend and release vibrato. I can only guess that Trey's tendancy to lean more towards the Jazz spectrum is the reason that he doesn't incorporate it more into his repitoir. Outside of that very MINOR criticism, I would stack Trey up against almost any guitarist out there for both technical perfection and pure improvisational magic. Perhaps the only guitarist that I would place above Trey in any category would be the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughn. His rendition of littlewing still brings me to tears..... Trey hits me in more of a 'Wow that was awesome' kind of way, where Stevie just grabs you, pulls you in, and takes you where ever HE wants to go.

I seen Killer one time on Video he was pulling up his shirt and exposing his six pack! I was like woa is this an intimate moment between men? No he was Iming me and a girl and was trying to show her his six pack, LOL! I was like dude your so white my contrast is showing no six pack but just a plain WHITE OUT, LOL! It was so friggin hillarious, he started laughing from some of my comments and I thought he was going to smash his head into the big screen he was next to in his basement! I was like Killer look out DAD will kill you, he was of course on stimulous over load eni on one hand and a hottey on the other with video cam going on at the same time while trying to expose himself and look sexy at the same time without leading me on but the hottey, LOL! GOOD TIMES, yeah he wll be back and not white but pink because he has red hair the never get brown just PINK, LOL!

While he may not be the most technically proficient guitarist, he is without a doubt one of the most unique. Like you said, he makes the oddest sounds sound good in the context of a song. Sounds you wouldn't normally associate with a guitar.
