Win on penalties with a Dudek save from Shevchenko, one of the least reliable goalkeepers in the English Premiership vs. the best striker in the world. If you're American and don't understand how unlikely this is, trust me, it's the very definition of unlikely.

Honestly, Liverpool were pretty poor for the 114 minutes in which they didn't score. Gerrard and Hyppia did way more than their fair share of work and thoroughly deserved to lift the trophy. It's a little disappointing we didn't see a bigger team performance, like the one they put in against Juventus in the quarter final, but hey it wouldn't be a fairytale comeback if Milan had scored against the run of play would it?
