EVENT IDEA - Give Feedback

Yo! I was playing on the server today and having fun knifing Deuce over and over again and came up with an idea that could make some kind of entertaining event someday...
You might find it really stupid, but I'm sure it would be fun  ... So here goes :
You put me and kaoz on one team, remove auto-balance and make all the server play against us. This could last 1-2 maps and me and kaoz could record and host it on CSR after!
And we could settle a date in advance so people who want to be part of the "KILL ZOOL AND KAOZ" event can actually have fun killing us for once.
Also, with this making a demo section on the website would be really nice, I don't know if you have bandwith limits or space limit but just hosting a couple demos so that people can learn from us. Maybe also a section where people could post TIPS and special features to explain some tricks of CS.
Of course this all involves a lot of work, but as for the event, I know i would personnaly enjoy it, but i wonder if the ones playing against us would? Since i'm not amongst them i don't know, just give me feedback?
Let's see if it's a good idea or not...!
I didn't talk to kaoz about this, but i'm pretty sure he'd be up to it...
The reason i chose him is because i'd probably have a lot of trouble if he'd be playin against me AND being only guy on a team can get really hard... i think us 2 could give a lot of ennemies lots of problems  !
I also heard about the es_maps event on the 31st and that looks awesome, so i guess something out of the ordinary like me and kaoz showing off our pub allstar skills would be nice  .

Of course for this we would need like at least 6 people that devote themselves to being there during the whole maps because we don't want the servers emptying with just me and kaoz in it lol... needs to attract people not scare them!

i dunno if teaching everyone how to hack is really a great idea....lol j/k but yea I would totally be in on that one.. i was playing with you today and i couldnt kill you once.. but u had no problem headshooting me every round before the freeze time was even up.. so yea

Im down for that. I'd even provide the disk space and bandwidth for CSR to host the demo's. I feel with a few tips and some demo watching I could instantly get a lot better.
I've been working hard to control my spray the way Zool does. Zool doesnt even need to burst with the AK and that's why he kills so damn fast. he just fires full auto with with supreme control of the spray...that seems to be the key to killing people before they even get a shot off 
Zool, you need to record your hand movement and have another person record the screen demo and then edit them into a single video!! I feel that would help greatly 
Kaoz, we need a follow up to your original tactics article! We need the Bayne, Kaoz & Zool tactics thread. I wanna be l337

It might be fun, but wouldn't organizing a 2v2 tournament be a bit more along with the server spirit of friendly competion? You two are good guys that I do not mind having around at all and I mean no offence when I say this, but I have better things to do than celebrate the skills of a select few players.
I would not mind competing against you guys in a 2v2 tournament, since I find playing against (and losing against) skilled players helps me play better and think more strategically. If the tournament was structured properly, (i.e. having a round robin with 2 pools, and then an A final and a B final) it could be enjoyable for everyone involved.
And again, no offence intended, there are other possible 2 player teams that I can think of that could give you a good run for your money.

You want a guide on how to be 1337?
Stop pubbing. It is ok if you're like most good players and dedicate 8 hours to playing because you will have the extra time. Otherwise though just stop.
Play with good players and against good players in scrims. This means getting into a clan, getting a priv server, and irc channel at the least. Practice with this clan a ton. You may never have a social life outside of cs, but most elite cs players don't anyways.
Then you can come into csr and own everyone. Question is, do you really want to spend the time required on a game just so you can be better then people in a public server? I doubt it, but unless you're willing to put up some time you're probably not going to go anywhere.
Personally, I never got that far into games. I quit playing frequently through sports seasons and when the game got old. I doubt i'll ever play in a serious clan again. So many things are 1000x more important. I love to play games, but competiting only works out for like 20 people.

Terraji, I can tell you this with regards to skill. Zool decided to start knifing yesterday and he managed to get EVERYONE on the server and keep near a 2:1 kill ratio with minimal gun usage. Lets pretend his aim sucks, he still has the ability to just avoid and conquer. The other reason I like the idea is we'd get to see a lot more diverse play from a demo perspective cause they'd be doing a lot more work against 5-6 people instead of 2
Though i do think a 2-2 or 3-3 round robbin tourney would be a fun event to schedule for another day. Hell we could just setup a match board and do it over the course of a week. So you wouldnt have to show up on a single night just to make it. Maybe PW protect the server for 1-2 hours a night for a week for the CSR 2-2 tourney! Someone get working on it!

Anytime I use the word l337 im not to be taken seriously as I dont think I'll ever join a serious clan or ever dedicate enough time to get that good. Its more just my endorsement of the idea as a fun/interesting idea.
My only desire is to be good enough to tear the server up every now and again, I don't need to dominate every server every time
That and as far as I'm concerned, my aim has nothing to do with pubbing or being in a clan. I get a feeling crazy good players would be crazy good even if they were never in a clan. Some people just understand how to make a bullet hit someones head better then others. Will playing in a clan make you better faster...sure. But its not everything.

you don't even need to be good, or get your own clan. Just get irc, then connect using irc.us.gamesurge.net then #findringer and play in some scrims, thats pretty much how i got better

Yeah, I'm all about demoralizing kaoz in game.
As for getting better... the best way is to play against people better than you. Being in a clan and scrimming every waking hour helps this because you'll have a greater chance of playing in a game where the average skill of the other team far exceeds your own, whereas in a regular pub it's just not the case.
You should do something where the highest fragger on the other team in the 2vServer gets a 30 minute private lesson from zool or kaoz. er, maybe the lowest fragger would need the help the most

A 2v2 wouldnt be the same at all.. the goal of the event would be to keep it a public server... if you start 2v2s and everyone go slow around the map it tends to get really boring... We want everyoen to be rushing and we will too .
You don't necessarily need clans to become better...
Of course if you want to go play competitive that's the way to do it but if you want to stay a pub player you can still improve your own game by watching demos, etc...
And also whoever doubts our legitness could have fun watching us play...
If you want to do a 2v2 that would be interesting, it would probably ened to be on some aim_map or soemthing where kills happen really fast and it's only about aim, that's the only way it would be entertaining...
As for the es_maps, how can i get involved in that? sounds fun :O.

Terraji, as for a little tournament, we tried that once... it was fun but it was so much organization! It was 5v5s though and we had like 6 teams and i think that in the end the admins team (TheWildBunch) won it!

I still think a tournament would be rad, and 2v2 would be easier to organize than 5v5 since you need less people in one place at one time. I would organize it, but I am at major end semester crunch time with exams coming up. I'm sure a bunch of other people are in the same situation as well. Perhaps in a month or two......

I dont think Bayne would work on our team. Would give us to much an adavantage. From what I have seen Bayne is easily as good as Kaoz and Zool...though I obviously am far from the final word and have not seen any of them in clan matches. Bayne with silenced colt = l337
I don't know how the hell he does it with that thing!
Maybe you 3 vs like 8-10 of us?

Most every good gamer plays a ton. Even if it is a few hours a day that would be the bare minimum any competitive player spends. Every competitive gamer I know social life suffers due to the amount of time they spend gaming. You even said yourself that you play cs over your homework a lot of the time. Maybe it is just all the people I know, but heh I know tons of them. Most of them I know that are my age have come to a moment of clarity like the Simpsons comic book store guy. "You can't marry a fly aqua man for it is not human. I've wasted my life"

School suffers... social life of course suffers too, but i have one and i dont know anyone who ever told me i was playing too much and that i shouild stop.

I love all this info, I have had a increase in my kill ratio due to, screen resolution info, setting up the keyboard, silencers vs none the list goes on and on! As great as alln thats been I have x-box with every shooter known to man and for my PC have Vietcong, Counter Strike, Battlefield 1942, Halo and Counetr stike elite FREAK ME OUT! I'd swear there was hacking going on! I had a guy jump down from the stairs the other night I am way across the field in the water under the bridge and as he is falling caps me in the head!??? Listen I am one of the elite in all the other shooters but Counter guys baffle me sometimes! How much hacking goes on? This demo forum sounds cool, I love playing better guys! I have kiled bayne more than once and cherish those momments!

Hey guys!
I played the other day. It was the first time in like 6 months cause i havent played since school started. Anyway, it was on inferno and i went 27-7 and helping out as a leader for my team. I guess i havent lost my touch..heh
By the end of May beginning of June ill have my own computer by then and i willl be playing cs all summer so watch out guys im commin back
Then maybe me and ayo could cause some T rouble

ok kaoz there was a post way back when, and you just bashed me and then when we played together you just kept saying stuff i dont really care but whatever.
second the virus was on and i just reformatted my computer so its gone. i got it from someone else and i started to have a convo with you and i forgot to tell you not to click on the pic. Im sorry it was an accident.
The picture i saw at your clan site when i was checkin it out and i saw you so i put it on my profile. Again im sorry, ill take it off. I have no problems with you anymore and i guess shouldn't have cause you were prob messin around.
