I saw you on, but I wasn't finished studying...still not  . I usually play 2:30PM EST to 3:30 and maybe at 10PM as well during the week. I play all sorts of times on the weekends though.

I try and sit in the server to encourage people in whenever I can - but being in the UK my hours probably don't coincide with many other peoples (except SG  ).

I don't consider, "no one's ever on," as any kind of valid excuse. When I want to play, I join the server, go get some lunch, and poke the mouse to keep me in-game for half an hour or more. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but you stand a much better chance of someone else joining if you're already in-game, don't you? Look, if you want people in the server, you'd better darned well be prepared to do your part.

Porter we all try this signing in standing around, a lot of us! You keep hearing it over and over from everybody, we are doing are part, were all trying buddy! I am at the point if nobody's around there are a ton of other server's and other games?
I think if we could have something on this post where daily you could go in and put yourself on a list for times you would probably play on any given day might get more people together more often. Look at the last beta test a bunch of us made it because we knew some good guys would be playing? Just a thought?

So if all the regulars to play appear at the same time we have a 5v5 game wooo fun. 
But yeah Porter is right; if you want randies to show up and play, you have to be in there. Surf the web, read a book, or anything and then check back every once in awhile.

To be fair, a sizeable number of regs/admins have been out of commission of late - exams, work, slacking in foreign countries. Hopefully that will change soon though

I agree with eni on this one to tell ya the truth
it is kind of sad that someone has to sit in the server and wait to try to start a game. CSR used to be packed to the brim day in and day out. if you were waiting... it was to get in.. not for a second guy to join so you can run around in a 1 on 1 game in a 20 player server

I was happy to see 6 people on the server but i was also waiting for my friend to get here and we were going out.. he happened to get here just after 1 round so I had to bail.
SG: I don't have the time to play so much now and when I get that free time I want to play CS for what it is a multiplayer game... if I wanted to play with myself I would play CZ or perhaps flip to that channel the cable company doesn't know I get for free
I know what you and the others are saying and I do agree with you... but like I said... CSR used to fill itself, now its a rare site to see more than 10 people playing.

This is usually done when someone has an offensive name. The player's name gets changed to Llama and when they try to type messages it changes them to things like Bleeat! and Ooorgle!
It's quite entertaining but then you get constant spam of Ooorgle! as they try to complain...
