I tooled around it.

Seems quite a bit different than b2.

I'm not a fan of the doors on the sewer exits, and don't think I'm a fan of the fence around B either.

Things I do like are that house route (though I noticed I couldn't shoot through those walls) and the widened tunnel things on the ground. At least I think you changed them because I wasn't getting stuck.

Also the stairway that leads to the lookout over A has some serious issues. Didn't go up there the first time I looked at it.

Just now loaded it again and the staircase is fine. So I imagine its just the HL engine being stupid.

Edit: THAT'S IT! Auto Copy Extension is getting the ax.

Played it today for the first time with SG, Toby and XF. Fun was had. The layout is darned convoluted if you ask me, and the choke points are extremely tight (maybe that's what you were going for). It played well with just 4 people, but I have a hard time seeing it play well with 20 people. It would be traffic-jam city. At the same time, I like the variety of routes available.

The layout is nowhere near as complicated as it might seem at first. In terms of distance between sites/spawns it's pretty small, so the variety of routes is necessary to make it feel bigger.

I don't think its complicated either, but that's probably because I've played it since b1.

Playtesting this is all I have lined up for this evening so apologies in advance. Of course if someone can come up with a good map to add before 6pm they're welcome to suggest it.

With good teamwork this map would be very cool with a large group I think.
You can send your forces 2 or 3 different ways to the bombsites and make planting or defending them a real nightmare for the other team.

Just to prove I'm actually doing something here's a pic of a random mansion with new tex that's outside the playable portion of the level and thus quite unnecessary.

The textures were made from photos taken while in Rennes with JB. That door is the door the actual door for that building.

I did, but I had to go to work right after I looked, so it slipped my mind. My bad.

I did actually download and try it out. The only thing I remember is that it was a huge file and that I was missing textures (or a WAD). I'll have to look at it again.

I think I accidentally deleted one texture from the wad that was supposed to stay in - it's the water texture at the bottom of the wells. Other than that it should be ok.
