I heard there were some problems with the IP thing. If people have the tourney server in their Steam Favorites list, they will probably need to re-enter the address (the one druz posted) to catch up to the new IP from last week. I should have mentioned this in my previous post on the topic. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Lol too late now My steam isn't working (doesnt load up at all just takes up 100% cpu and no bandwidth taken up what-so-ever)

Alright, so I must be confused here. I thought that was the original "IP"... right?
Exerpt from PM from porter :
"Test your access on the Bs server at tourney.csreloaded.com:27015"
I'm at work so I can't test this, but does steam resolve the IP to the FQDN and use the IP from there? Or does it use the FQDN and resolve the IP each time it connects?? Anyone?
In either case, take the win. I'd rather spend an hour working on getting some of my projects done.
PS : tourney.csreloaded.com isn't really an IP, its considered an FQDN. But I still understand what was implied. Just throwing in some more geekspeak to waste some time.
PPS : I just came on to post that I couldn't connect, saw your post, so posted my own and left Druz.

Best I can figure, entering a FQDN into Steam will cause the IP to be resolved once, and from then on the Favorites listing is tracked by IP. This would cause the problem you encountered where the FQDN had been updated to the correct IP, but your copy of Steam was using a cached IP. That sounds like something Valve would do, huh?
