Have an optical wired mouse right now from miocrosoft that I am using with my lap top.  Money is no object in reason, looking at the Logitech MX 700 cordless, NO MORE WIRES!  Anybody have one or suggestion would be great, Thanks!

I do not like cordless, as little things like a phone ringing nearby or someone dialing on a phone nearby can interfere, if you want a new mouse get an MX510, It works well for me.

I have a mx700 wireless on my big screen PC, works fine and the wireless reciever is much improved. on that PC, the other receiver is like 5-6 feet away from the mouse when i use it and never have a problem. put it closer like on a desk and it will be real good. even has rechargable batteries so u put the mouse in the cradle.

attached is my big screen... sorry took the pic with my cell phone, thats 50" of CS action!

If you have not already purchased the mouse I can tell you from my standpoint that the MS Explorer Optical 3.0 is the most comfortable and accurate mouse I have ever used.  I can't make it lose tracking no matter how hard I try.
It's not wireless, but it is great
It's thumb buttons also seem to be a little easier to use then the logitech ones.  Though its all personal preference.

I've used the microsoft Optical explorer.  I had it for a while it was pretty good, then it got a wierd and twitchy, then i just bought the logitec mx500, it's the best mouse i've ever used. (espically when you take the weight out)  I suggest the mx500 way over the optical explorer

I also forgot to mention.  My dad just bought a new laptop and the mx700 mouse/keyboard combo, from the little bit of time i spent installing and uninstalling programs on his laptop, the mx700 is a very very heavy mouse and i don't like it at all.  Get the mx500 and stay with the cord, with the slight delay in sending of information and it's weight the mx700 has got to be one of the worst for gaming.

yeah but Enialator has very strong wrists and overdeveloped forearms so the extra weight probably won't be a factor for him.
