I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how i can fix it. About a month ago i put czero on my computer and then a week later i ran the defrag to clean up my computer. Now when i play the game half the sounds are missing?? Did all the files get moved or deleted?
Help!

that must be what happened, unless you deleted something on accident.  I'm not sure but your reasoning adds up.

That'sa big assumption biggums. Valve updates CS and CZ almost every week, and they do it via Steam. It's much more likely that Steam failed to download everything it was supposed to. I would check to make sure it wasn't something like that first. Defragging is a relatively data-safe procedure. If there was risk of losing files like that, people wouldn't recommend doing it once a month, would they?

CZ just had a big update pushed out... worst comes to worst... just delete the local game content and reinstall CZ. You paid for it.. so you can redownload it with ease (might take a few though)

on that note I noticed steam seems to be getting better as far as bandwidth

I wasn't trying to make you look stupid-- I just pointed out that there was much more likely explanation than the one you were talking about.

yeah getting steam would be a good idea because then you will get patches to the games, even if you are only playing single player
