Help With Being Flashed...

 I am wondering how people dont get flashed as much when i throw one right infront of them.... i heard some ppl saying that u can adjust the gamma or something like that so that you will only be 50% flashed.... or something like that... any help on what to do?

The biggest thing is sound.
A flashbang makes a distinct sound when it is thrown, each grenade sounds different so if you hear a FB coming you can turn and avoid some of its effect. I have my gamma and brightness maxed out but a flash still blinds me completely if I don't hear it coming or don't turn away fast enough.

Stay away from Eni would be my best advice here mate. If you see me or am on the same team run to the other side of the map! This will definately reduce being flashed by 50%. Skip advice was true and worth knowing but he still get's blinded by me regularly so the odds are I and other will still get you even if you do know the sound. Flashes mean one thing mate, RUN!

Someone told me to press TAB every time you get flashed cos it darkens the screen briefly. This was awful advice and I wouldn't solicit it to anyone. I would suggest bind "#" "+closeeyes" that works pretty well...

The truth is, you should be able to kill your opponent blind if it's that kind of situation. if you are in my view and throw a flash in front of me, i will kill you. you need to have that kind of attitude when playing, and always focus on instinctively aiming and using sound to still get kills while blind.

i have a better idea... how about i get a tinted lense on my monitor so that its less of a flash of light ... i bet none of you guys thought of that now did you....

They were sunglasses so flashes don't work on them.

does wearing night vision goggles help out with flashes in the game?? i heard that it might but i cant remember if i did cause i dont like the goggles it makes me a little more choppy
