hooked up wireless router and it works fine
i got working internet on my desktop
but the labtop
shows it is connected to the wireless
and has STRONG signal (full signal)
but the local area network = connects for a SECOND
and disconnects
but on this computer the local area network is fine
as far as i can tell they both are configed the same......

I cant make sense out of it.

I would reccomend:

1) install fresh drivers for your wireless chipset on your laptop

2) carefully read the user manual for the router

and if all else fails:

3) update the firmware on the router.

And for the love of god encrypt your wireless traffic.

I figured it out actually it was some weird port device changing the signal out
and junk
i had to tamper with some other junk
and randomly got it working
the drivers were already up to date and everything like that

thanks for the help
