I think it's a human actually based on the time difference between registration and this post, but man you'd have to be really desparate to take THAT job. Then there's the fact that it correctly placed its "ad" in the "Help & Troubleshooting board....
Either way, bad form spamming like that.
Minus double points for it being a total amatuer-ish site/product.
I wouldn't trust anything other than Spybot or Ad-Aware-- and I do this for a living. 
I see spyware and virri take out the likes of Norton Internet Security 2006 on a daily basis-- the only way to proactively protect your computer these days is to buy a Mac.

What I think is really funny is that all of these posts are protected by a robots file. None of the search engines will crawl past the forum index page, so posting links back to THEIR page is useless in terms of boosting their PageRank.
