help with WinXP!

hey guys,
I need help with windows XP. The gif in peoples avatar aint moving.. it stays still like a pic? 
Any Ideas?!

I'm assuming your having problems with IE 6.0 (not just XP  )
Tools -> internet options -> advanced
Check off play animations on web pages. (Mulitmedia section)
This may not be it, but its a good thing to check first. Lemme know how it goes so I can look into it further if needed.
