keyboard not working when dead

Okay, when i die, i can't always use my keyboard or mouse...which is bad, since i can't even hit tab to see who's in game. the only thing i can do is pull down a console, and type stuff like admin commands in there. Anyone else have this bug, and anyone know how to fix it?

do you have like something like... a cordless keyboard? maybe its your batteries... and they are running low... or have you checked the connection? I know thats my problem... and I know your more of a computer expert that I am... but maybe this noobie computer expert might be right? lmfao... yeah right... lol

its a problem with steam. add it with the other countless bugs.
hopefully..this only happens a few times for you and not all the time. the only way i have been able to fix it is to quit counterstrike alltogether.

when that happens enter this in console: "+duck -duck"
it happens when you die while crouched.

I suppose that's what you get when you build a game with bind that changes actions when you die. They should have used F1 or something no already bound by default to bring up the spectator menu. Thanks for the fix Kaoz. I haven't had this problem yet, but I will recognize it now if I do.

Sweet....
I just heard of this spec_menu "1" (it worked for me at the time) command (I don't remember what it was exactly, it was when I first got 1.6 working) Not sure if that's the exact command, anyone know?
