I really like these forums, they are fast, easy to understand, and reliable.  I use the same forums over at www.eliteonlineaccess.com.  I couldn't see CSR using anyting different.  (BTW When are we gonna get that shout box back on the main page?  ) Does anyone else remember the shout box?

I remember it. I also remember how hard it was to enforce the T&C's on it. It turned into a flame war every time people were on it. If there's enough demand I'll work it back in, but I'm gonna pull it the first time things get out of hand.

As for the forum software itself, I'm waiting for the 1.0 release of SMF (which is the successor to YaBBSE). You can check out the beta versions at www.simplemachines.org

Dont put it back on unless you can enforce on it.  One of the main issues was people were able to impersonate people.  That was the only real problem with it, but fun to use =)

Just looked at the SMF boards.  I really don't see much difference between the two, but there could be administrator access that gives more control over the board.  These boards are great.
