mIRC channel?

Frankl, I use this program alot. I have several friendly clans' channels on my favorites, and I was wondering if maybe you guys would consider getting one so that all us forumites didn't JUST have the forums as a way of communicating with each other.

Yeh, we talked about this once or twice before. I think it is a good idea - I use IRC all the time but I'm not sure how many others do.
Although seeing as the forums are pretty active some people might say we don't need it.
Last time we were going to do it was right around the time gamesnet switched to gamesurge or whatever...I use quakenet mostly anyway as it's the main European CS Network.

You're welcome to set one up and maintain it if you want, but personally I don't know how popular it's going to be. I think most of us here are kinda settled into the forums, with AIM or MSN or Friends (when it works) handling any live chat that's necessary. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong though.

Why didn't you use the server's name instead of the IP?
server.csreloaded.com:27015 is a lot easier to remember.

In addition to what zeus said there are some nice script packages which make mIRC that little bit easier on the eyes and have useful functions.
NoNameScript is the one I use.

I have an IRC plugin for Firefox. It's called chatzilla. Just check the extension page and it shouldn't be hard to find.
I don't use it though and don't plan to either.
