One of our members, SlightCrazed, has created a custom favicon for the website modeled after our semi-mascot, the phoenix. You should probably already be seeing it next to the web address in your browser window. (If not you need to get a better browser!  ) Just one of those small frills I guess. Thanks Slight!

Internet exploder has a hard time with Favicons... my understanding is that unless the site is saved into your favorites folder then the favicon will not show up.
The current incarnation of the favicon has some problems. It is not showing up right. Porter and I are working on a fix.

i dont have the issue of it now showing..rather the issue of it looking like monkey crap.
is it suppose to be a jumble of aqua and red colors?

Yeah.... it's not supposed to look like that, I think there is a problem with the color depth of the icon, so I sent porter a new one to try.

I see it using Galeon as my browser, and it looks green and redish to me.

...you might have to clear your browser's cache to get the updated icon to show up.

Just so everyone can see what it looks like:
For those of you using Internet Exploder, you have to add the site to your favorites to get it to show up, and as porter said, you may need to clear your cache as well. Most other browsers show Favicon's by default, but the clearing of cache might still be necessary.
