Admin Team Additions

Before anything else, I want to apologize for not posting this sooner. While the acting Admin Team is the only body capable of adding admins to it's ranks, the community has a right to know about going-ons, and I have been remiss in not keeping you all up to date.
This past week, the Admin Team asked me to invite three community members to "try out" for positions on the Admin Team. The reasoning behind this is to fill out their ranks, which have thinned from older admins going AWOL. The team lost about 6 admins who just haven't been around for months on end, and those positions needed to be replaced.
After much discussion, the thee people chosen were A-Kraze, Terraji, and Yuna. Though I shouldn't need to say this (because you should all know how the team chooses people): these three people were chosen because they have proven themselves to be mature, responsible, level-headed, intelligent and capable members of the community. That has always been the standard by which admins are chosen, and shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone.
It has been brought to my attention that there seems to be some resentment in the community (only a select few, to my knowledge) who seem to think that you need to wear a certain clan tag in order to be an admin. That couldn't any more wrong, and you really should be ashamed of yourself for not knowing this community better. The reason so many of our admins wear a [Guardian] tag is because they epitomize the qualities we value in our admins. The Guardian clan was formed with the express purpose of serving as the guardians of the server, and it's no surprise that so many of them have been asked to become admins.
In conclusion, I want to again apologize for not sharing this news with you all sooner. I also want to end by reminding everyone that these three were picked on their individual merits, and are now provisional (meaning they're still in their "try-out" period) members of the Admin Team. That means they deserve the same respect that the rest of the Admin Team does-- in fact, that the rest of the community does.
(When it comes to admins though, you'd be a very foolish person not to listen to what they are asking you to do. "Even the teams" always means even the teams, and "complete your objectives" always means plant the bomb or go for the hostages. These are not open to interpretation people.)
In short: harassing them, or any other member of our community, is directly opposed to what CSR is about, and will earn you a quick ban should you choose to pursue it. If you have any comments or concerns about this particular event, or any admin or event, feel free to contact me (or Ribs or anyone else) privately. If you feel you can keep your comments civil and productive, you can also post them here.

Is VERY true.... My tag -A- is an old tag that is not used anymore, only by me. So this reinforces what porter said about needing a tag to be an Admin.

Also on that tag thing, you have to wear {[::M.L.C.C.::]} Tag if you want to become admin.
