I just picked up NFS: Carbon the other day when it was on sale for $30 on Amazon. Figured with the one day sale I couldn't really go wrong. The Godfather looks like it will be a solid title, can't wait for that.
As far as my ID, I have no idea what it is, and even if I did, my Wii doesn't play too nicely with my router. Every so often it will just completely crap out on my wii, but not my laptop.
Mine was pretty finicky connecting. It sits less than 10 feet away from my AP and I had to switch the channel to 1 to get it to connect. I can connect my iBook with full signal anywhere in my apartment which has many beefy concrete walls in between. I really wish that they gave an ethernet jack on the back. That is the only way I can ever get peace of mind for reliability.
Linksys WRT54G with DD-WRT firmware is the best way to go. I replaced my junky D-Link and I have been all smiles ever since. I had a netgear previously and that wasn't all that great either.
The new airport base stations are waaaaay overpriced, especially considering they lack
1) gigabit ethernet switch. every single new mac has gigabit. why doesn't this?
2) An antenna. I am no radio engineer, but common sense dictates that this is a really stupid idea. I am not going to pay more for something that functions worse at it's primary function.
Yeah my Linksys router is quite old, though I don't care to do anything about it since I will be returning to school on Sunday and my Wii will be staying home.
I have enough distractions, I don't need to invite more into my room with video games. It will be sad because I'm pretty damn far in Zelda only to have to shelve it for more than a month.
I guess it isn't bad compared to other draft-n routers. I hadn't checked the prices until now and they are around $130 CAN compared to $199 for the Apple one and they are missing the USB.
However, my WRT54G cost $70 and it kicks ass. 802.11n is overrated anyway. I have gigabit in my apartment for all my media streaming needs.

I really need to get on my ass and play more Zelda. Haven't touched it since before Christmas and I am only 20 hours in.
