GENIOUS IDEA!

Since it seems that every time there is one or two people in the server, or just me, in 5 min there are a few more people in the server and then it grows. If you are a csr regular and believer, every time that you think about playing cs, but csr is empty, just go ahead and join csr and then if a few people join awsome, and if not then you've only wasted 2 or 3 min, and go play somewhere else, but most of the time i think you will find others will join.

This is very easy, all CSR regulars make a MSN or Hot Mail account, mine is Enialator@msn.com, I like the way it say good morning to me when I sign on, I feel important! This way if you are online you just instant message people and say hey I am going on come on! My whole clan does this, I get a notification every time they come on whether I am gaming or not. Please I know Steam has friends but it does not work all the time. Having an e-mail for just your gaming identity keeps those e-mails separate from work or personal storage. So please everybody add me to your Messenger list, this would exclude Druz, I don't want to play with you buddy!

Eh, I use AIM for any sort of chatting purposes. And besides I don't check my email anyway.

Pssh, Microsoft sucks at writing programs. I won't even CONSIDER using MSN until they get the darned program to 'ding' when a new message comes in. I mean, c'mon! They expect you to sit there and WATCH the bloody window? I've got THINGS TO DO!

Who cares if this is better that is better, I am very content with my microsoft products. I am sure I would also enjoy Mac products like my Itunes that will not work when I burn a CD for the car! People who bad mouth Msn are usually the Star Trek convention type! Live Long and prosper Porter!

That's fine. I've never told anyone to use anything but what works best for them. Maybe it's because I've spent a lot of time learning about application usability or "proper" coding techniques, but Microsoft stuff sure doesn't seem intuitive or friendly to me after you spent some time with the alternatives.
I am sure I would also enjoy Mac products like my Itunes that will not work when I burn a CD for the car! People who bad mouth Msn are usually the Star Trek convention type! Live Long and prosper Porter!

Check your iTunes preferences and make sure you're burning and audio CD instead of a data or mp3 CD. If that still doesn't work, then maybe it's the stereo? Do the CDs from iTunes work in your home system? Do any other burned CDs work in your car?
...and I've never been to a Star Trek convention, by the way.

See Porter having all that computer knowledge just paid off for me! I was not aware of that function with Itunes! I will check I hope so! My car stereo is a Blaupunkt and says it palys Mp3, files and something else, so maybe i am in luck! Hmmm, warms up to Porter, may the force be with you!

Well why the hell do you need it to ding in your face when you have the window up front? The only time it should ever have to ding is when it's in the background, where you wouldn't normally be able to see if theres a new message unless you opened that window.
Unless you're really slow or something, I think it's a good idea that it doesn't ding every friggin' time you get a message in an already-open conversation window. I really don't see why AIM has it like that (even though I turn those damn annoying sounds off in preferences), or why MSN should.

You're not used to having more than one computer, are you?
I am frequently looking at the other computer while my chat programs are open. Even if MSN is the front-most application, I need it to ding because my eyes are NOT always on my screen.
The way MSN is now, I have to put it in the background to get it to ding, and then when it does, switch back to the front, reply to whoever IMed me, and put back in the background. Too much work? I think so. Hence, AIM.
