after having another play session of fy_joust..i decided its about time to gather all the bugs and problems, and create the final fixed up razzle dazzle version of fy_joust2k

for those of you who have played the map, i would appreciate input on what you think needs to be changed. here is a list of things i'm already doing:

1) RAISE FPS, LOWER WPOLY
  - lower wpoly of walls, floors
  - get rid of water (and having death pit again)

2) STRATEGY
  - make the barricade wall breakable to prevent campers
  - make the anti camper bomb stronger
  - getting rid of ladders to side towers (see above water)
 
3) IDIOT PROOF
  - redesign top cart texture to make it more simple
  - redo driving instructions

4) RAZZLE DAZZLE!!
  - new custom textures
  - make lights stronger
  - give each hidden easter egg texture its own design
  - add music!
  - add the scream of falling (for you porter  )
  - and if wpoly permits it, designs to make it look more medivial.
  - and maybe a couple new easter eggs 

any suggestions you have that would help make joust even more fun then it already is would be appreciated

i started adding a few changes.

right now, max wpoly has gone down from the 900's to the 450's

the water is gone..its now back to being dangerous if you fall off.

I think you should add a middle layer.  It would increase the possibilities of where to rush (other then just using the carts).

you fix the glitch in the old fy_joust... you know the one where u go up the ladder and your stuck or can go right trhough the wall and can't get up?

I played joust for a short while last night and it was very laggy. I didn't realise all the battlements etc. were breakables! Breakables should be used very sparingly since they contribute highly to polys.
