AKR vs MentalDebris
de_just_b1
by: Deuce

The Showdown between the league hottest teams was set for a 8 o'clock battle to determine a final victor. With two canceled fights already, this battle would go down in history as a the deciding match between the two teams.

Keeping in spirit with the olympics game, team akr joined togethor to form the ultimate United Nations, with Deuce as the United States, Justboy as Scotland, and Primer as Canada. The tri-national team was prepared for battle, until they heard news of anarchy, treachery, and hostility among the Mental Debris camp. The Maple Leaf Warrior and the Stars and Stripes Hero (minus the Scottish Assassin, who we assume was too drunk to play, or maybe forgot there was a match) prepared their camps for what would be a terrific and horrifiying match up.

The battle never took place, as while the North American teams waited for battle, a delegate from the MD camp reported that all hell broke loose, and the team of Mental Debris was no more. Immediately after the news, The United Nations gave each other awards for their heroic actions on the battle front. The MVP award was giving out to Canada (or as I like to call them: United States Lite).

With victory in hand, The United Nations retreated to the local bar, where they shared war stories and predicted when the next rain storm would come based off the shaking of their kneecaps.

(dumbed down version: Deuce and Primer waited on the server until Theekiller came and told them MD wasnt going to play)

Final Score -
The United Nations of AKR - 7
The Axis of Mental Debris - 0

Yes, you did send it to me via PM and IM, but you realize that by posting it you've made it completely useless for me to post in on the site too.

YOU NEED TO QUIT POSTING ALL OF THIS STUFF IN THE FORUM, YOU'RE MAKING THE WEBSITE TOTALLY POINTLESS. AND NOT TO MENTION WASTING MY TIME!!!

May I point out the we were the team that showed up in full, ready to play at the time original match, and we were nice enough to allow a reschedual.

I think that any past and future matches vs MD should be nullified, and not be handing out 7-0's to everyone.

cant be done.. its a 7 week schedule and if we did nulified all MB matches, teams would end up with a different amount of games played at the end. forfiet points is the only way to deal with it.

Or you could rebuild your team. Make it stronger, faster, and have more hacks than the other guy and then play the matches...

My point is simply that there is no reason to go to the site if you keep posting all of this stuff in the forums too. It's just like every week when you change the schedule to read the results of each match instead of the times they were scheduled. For example Week 4 or Week 3 or Week 2 (I think you get the idea). It's totally redundant and a waste of time for you to post it in the forum AND have me update it on the site.

I'm gonna have to agree on this one. Yuna's worked hard on the site (trust me, she's stiffed me to get her work done!) and it's pretty counterproductive to have your work undermined like that. Nobody even bothers to go to the site because everything gets posted here.

I think the map schedules and reports should be site-only. The only thing that should get posted here is that a new schedule is up on the site, with a link to it. This would drive traffic to the site, which is why it was created to begin with, and also still give people a thread to discuss the topic under.

Of course, the other option is to just trash the site entirely and let Deuce and JB handle everything by posting it here. It probably wouldn't be as effective in my opinion, but at least nobody's wasting their time then.

See, websites are designed to disseminate information, and forums are designed for discussion. This is what their strengths are. It makes sense to have a site for the tourney, since we have rules and match reports and schedules we want to share with people. All perfect things to put on a site. It also makes sense to have a place for people to discuss the tourney, its results, and for coordinating schedules. It doesn't make sense to me to overload EVERYTHING into the forums.

Then delete it.

I shall reiterate. Just go back and delete it . Then it will just be in one place.

Edit- The stuff in the forums, not the whole website.

It's not worth my time to go back and delete all the duplicate information. I'm just trying to get it to stop.
