I don't know if anyone here would be able to help but I might as well ask as I'm so close to jumping over my balcony right now.  Has anyone had experience setting cookies and Internet Explorer 6?  I can't seem to do it and I don't know why.  I'm using PHP5 and if I remember correctly I have done it before, but for some reason it's not working now.  If anyone has any suggestions I certainly am listening.

Not sure if this helps, but I had issues with trying to use path-specific cookies. Try making them site-wide (i.e. not adding a path  component to the cookie.

I haven't used PHP 5 yet, so I can't really help much there. Is it really *ONLY* IE6, or does it affect anything else too? Could it be security settings on IE's side preventing the cookie?

Oh I have a stinking feeling it's all to do with the security settings, but I need this to work at the default security level.  And yes it's only good old IE6.  Firefox, Netscape, and Safari eat the cookie without a problem.  I don't think sessions have changed much from PHP4 to PHP5 so . . . .  I'm going to try setting up a P3P privacy policy today, fun fun.
