A word from me

I just wanted to take a second have everyone appreciate what this server is doing right now. As we have seen before, the server activity died down, no one played, and no one used the forums. Now, on a daily basis there's always people on at peak hours, and the forums are starting to get alive and kicking again. NOW is the time that people should be bringing their (quality) friends to CSR, and direct them to the forums. The population of our community has become quite cyclic, and i think the thing to do to try and maintain a constant amount of people here is invite new faces NOW.
I've been thinking long and hard how to ensure that this community survives the oncoming exodus from CS that WILL occur soon, and the shift to CS:Source. I want this community to stick together, but the trend for everyones community involvement always spikes quickly but over time less and less people help out with doing the "fun stuff" we always used to, and providing fixes for bugs. This can only be changed by a pro-active group of people!
I don't know how the rest of you feel but I wanted to state for the record what i'm doing, and what i want everyone else to try and do.

Hmmm... I have been around for awhile now and I think with what has happen to me 99% of the people leave! Bashed for spelling errors, refused or bashed for the views on life? I play more here than most Admins, I have recruited and re ignited players more than most Admins. I bet ther is not a person who can not say in a game I am a true and good player. What it takes to make it here and deal with all the powere mongers and stuff is the reason the numbers come and go and do not stay. I think of the amount of people in my clan and it's a third of the community! I have really put a lot of time and effort to be part of this server and here what your saying Kaoz...
I just do not think the reality is what many want to accept.

This thread isn't about you Eni. Your post does nothing but dissuade people from trying to get new faces around here. I like you on the server but am sick of your non-constructive forum chat.
People do want to play in our community and they will come. As Kaoz says - we just need to put the word out as much as possible.
Everyone keep playing, keep posting and have fun.
