Btw I think you should convert your sig picture to jpg, it'll load a lot faster

Here's mine, i'm a very big fan of a clean desktop look, and i never use my start button (unless it's start>run).
oh yeah that's a custom WarDogs steam skin from about a year ago :-( oh the memories. sorry it's at my desktop resolution, i have nothing to resize it with.

Zeus I recently updated my Nvida drivers and got a real cool interface. I can look at my documents threw them now, Nvida makes them transparent, it's wicked!

Before i reformated i ahd a real cool desktop! I plan on getting rid of Elisha after i get some of our vaction photos up on my comp! After seeing that movie had to get her up. better then stonehedge i guess

How tiny!
I'd prefer this one. 30 inches of goodness. I was at an Apple Store just a couple days ago-- you can stretch a web browser long enough to see the entire CSR forum index page top to bottom without scrolling vertically. It's insane. I told yu^rei I needed two of them, but he seemed to think that was somehow overdoing it.

My desktop at the minute is alternating between Hilarie Burton a.k.a Peyton from groundbreaking WB teen drama ONE TREE HILL and an FF7 Vincent Valentine background which I got off ffonline.com. I'm not gay it's just I aspire to becoming a vampiric ex-govt spook with a dead aim and a harrowing personal history of lust and loss in a world gone mad. Actually if this guy was real I'd probably take a walk on the wild side. 21st century and all.
On the big screen debate - my parents just splashed a horde of cash on a flatscreen TV and considering the amount of TV we watch I'd say it was a good buy. Using that logic for computers I see no reason why these massive screens won't get popular quickly and thus increase competition and reduce prices and I'll be able to pick one up for like $10. Ok $15.

In most cases you're probably right (though personally I think the 17" PowerBooks are as unwieldy as heck), but you need a top of the line G5 tower with a high-end Geforce card to drive one of the 30 inchers (the only way to get a refresh rate of 16ms on a screen that big is to use "dual-link DVI": two DVI links in one cable to drive one display). And if you've already got a dual 2.5 GHz G5 tower, you probably are doing work that values horsepower over portability.
