First a switch to Intel, and now a multi-button mouse that puts even Logitech to shame??
F- for the name though. You can't get it all right in one shot I guess.

Sold your stock yet?
I know I pooh-poohed iBooks in the past, but I just ordered myself a 12" pearly-white notebook yesterday.
The free iPod mini sold it to me since my GF recently caught the iPod bug. It will save me the $250 for her birthday.
I still am not a fan of the white, which is why I am looking into doing a custom paint job.

My 10 shares were purchased at $19 a share. That's an investment of $190. Since then, the stock has had a 2:1 split, meaning my 20 shares are now worth approximately $880 dollars. That's not a bad return. If you think I'm gonna sell now though, you're nuts. Just wait till the Intel machines take off in 18 months and see what the stock does then. (Just for reference, I'm acting under the "if you believe in something strong enough, it'll come true" principle.)

Consider me under-whelmed by the Mighty mouse. Then again, I prefer (and game with) a 10 button trackball - so I guess you could call me a mousing device snob.
Realistically I like the design of the mighty-mouse, but think the functionality is a bit lacking. Specifically - I would prefer that the two independent side squeeze buttons (which are independent - apparently the "squeeze-click" can be activated with just one of the two) actually could be set to different clicks / actions.
I also think the primary mouse button system should provide for 3 clicks - as it is if you have a mouse registering on the left "button" touch sensor when you rock the mouse for a click it registers as a left click, regardless of whether the right mouse button sensor is being pressed. Touching ONLY the right sensor is the only way one gets a right click.
Okay - fine, makes some sense - but really, I would expect a single click to be just the left sensor, and a right click to be just the right sensor, then make the "chord" click (both sensors) a middle click.
Or for newbs / ergonomics make the chord click be left click, right sensor be right click, and left sensor be middle click. This way your hand is resting neutrally for the majority of mouse clicks, but you still get a third click out of the primary click button / sensors.
Apple is going interesting places yet again

IBM just stopped making chips for Apple this year. Now I have no idea what to spit on while I'm working.
