OK my dog died recently...and im come to terms with that. Now im currently looking for a new puppy...
american or english bulldog.
Now I didnt realize prices on dogs until i started looking... To be honest Im not one to spend 1k + for a dog...
my saint bernards were cheaper than that.... infact both of my saint bernards together was cheaper than that....
why are dogs these days pricing up the wall crazy?

It has to do with breeding,if you want 100% bulldog you pay alot if your getting what looks like a bulldog but was not bread from another certified bulldog or certified breeder you are paying half the cost.It all comes down to the breeder being certified and authenticity of the dog and proof.I have a friend that breeds pugs and he charges top dollar for his authenticity and proof that they are 100% pure so everyone has a piece of mind they werent screwed

My dog is a purebred American Cocker Spaniel, but he must have been the runt of the litter because he didn't cost much at all-- just a couple hundred dollars. There's nothing wrong with him though--other than being a tad on the dumb-as-a-brick side, but supposedly most cockers are like that. I've never had any others to compare him too, but I can tell you he's one of the sweetest, adorable little dogs I've ever met.
Puppy (2001)...
All growed up (present)...
Isn't he dumb looking??

hah nice hotdog
and well seeing as I understand that the pure breds and all its just that...isnt that a little much for a dog?! i could adopt one...but the only ones to adopt around here are already 3-4 years old.... and i want a puppy :/
not to mention My saint bernards are both pure breds and only cost bout 450... one weighs 235 pounds.... a complete stud...infact we got the female so they could have puppies and sell
but the female has a problem with her hip so we didnt end up doing that.
on a lighter Note: I got Contacts
