Gone away.

Tomorrow morning I am leaving on a road trip to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan for the Canada Day weekend, so unfortunatly, the server will be a little more empty for that period of time.
I may even find time to slip across the border into whatever state happens to be there.
Also, I will be busy monday evening with a night course, so I will not be gracing the server with my presence until next tuesday.
Hopefully I will be able to get a fix of cs tonight before I go.
Feel free to make fun of Canada now that the topic has been brought up.

I leave for Banff on Sunday I will be gone for a week. And then I have fraga after that so starting Sunday i probably won't be on csr for about two weeks. I might come on once or twice between Banff and Fraga.

I'm half canadian so I can say what ever I want about Canadian's. Grew up in Maine and have famili in Quebec, last name is Mercier. Canadian's are great for being copy cats, 4th of July and they have Canadian day and 50 thousand other days off! Man I wish I worked in Canada, you guys are always off!

Honestly, I don't know where they came from. Sure they probably came from the US. But we've had more great acts come out of America than bad and more than have come out of Canada period.

Good Charlotte is from California.
I think the crappy Canadian punk pretender band you all are thinking of is Simple Plan. Those jerks are from Montreal. Though I will bring up that my 3 favorite punk bands Propagandhi, D.O.A. and SNFU are all Canadian.
As for Nickleback, Alberta is horribly, horribly guilty for that one. We even have a radio station in Edmonton dedicated to the Nickelback genre of music.

Radio sucks. Every station in the Philadelphia area is owned by one or two companies, and they all broadcast the same Wuss Rock. So when traveling by motor coach, one must BYOM unless you want to put your ears through hell.
Satelite radio is a service I have yet to try, and therefore I cannot blast it for playing garbage or praise it for its genius.

My car's stereo sucks (stock tape deck) but I'm a big fan of a head unit with AUX-IN and my iPod. You could drive across the entire country and only hear exactly what you wanted to.
SG's right though, for the most part, radio sucks. ...though I'll admit I'm a fan of a local morning talk-show now that I have a daily commute (have I mentioned that having to work for money blows? ).

I listen to campus radio exclusively. CJSR here in Edmonton.
Radio commercials enrage me, as well as those stupid voices that every DJ talks with.
CBC news is also pretty good.
