Anybody interested in booking some time on CSR for a little scrim? It could be anything from 2v2 up to 5v5 if we were all online so post if your interested.

Me and JB played a 2v2 match against two of his iK clan buddies the other night. It was inferno and they won 12-0 as T then we won 12-0 as T. My contribution was getting in the way of their bullets...

Banter! Stu can post again! woooT. True about the 2v2, I was 17-1 at the end...I really am some kind of wonderful.
And also, hey Porter - I assume that was a hey cos you might have a problem with me expecting to book the server. Heav, Ayo, Ribs and I briefly discussed finding out if it would be a possibility. There may have been a thread somewhere around.

we'll have to set up a 5 man squad and do practice drills and pretend we know what we are doing.

you might want to wait on the scrim until x-factor gets back, i was under the impression he was shooting to be back by wednesday, but whether that means he'll be able to play by then or by thursday, i'm not sure.
if we REALLY wanted to get a wumpa vs guardian scrim, i'm not completely opposed to that, but guardian still out numbers wumpa by a few players i think.
Secondly, i KNOW Omega has been looking to go at a wumpa/guardian scrim for a VERY long time, so if we do it, we'd have to make it a weekend when he could come up here, and get on a REAL network (apparently his frat's net really sucks monkeys, hence, why he's not here). Not sure of Porter's and PK's real situation either.
Thirdly, i'm in, and I can play on either team
Fourthly, i say we just let yuna beat porter for a few rounds.
Fifthly?...is that a real word...i agree with deuce, that it might be best that guardian actually get in a few practices before we do anything "official". We scrimmed -guH- when we first started, and if I remember right, it was horrid, 'cause they knew what they were doing, and we didn't.
Okay, I think i'm done on that rant now.

We could always just bring another guardian though, like French Kiss, and then move someone to Wumpa like you Deuce...so teams would be like

OK IM BACK! and just now catching up on the posts that i missed and yes i would be interested in scrimming (espually against the wumpas have a score too settle) just give me a time and date and i will be there with no problem im sure if we need a scrimming server isn't wumpa server still up? cause im sure we could use that if nothing else

Well I am up for the 2 on 2, the 5 on 5 on the other hand might be a little difficult, or it could be easy.

Bloody hell! Since when was a 400 plus ping prohibitive?!?! I•ll take you all on with my tiny 128k USB wireless dial up connection!!!
But seriously if you care to do this in a month I will have either a 100mb fiber or 26mb/1mb ADSL connection. I have already checked my ping back to the states on the DSL side and it's a playable 200 average. So if you choose not to do this immediately I would be game.

Well from the looks of it Phoenix knight and porter say we should wait till late november when they are on holiday which i suppose im ok with it dont know what you all have planned up till then i will continue too decuss it with them and keep you all updated on when it will be

Porter and I are assuming that the variable they used to store the Karma number is similar to a "shortint" variable used in C++ or other programs. Essentially, we believe we COULD write a program to get around it, but the effort to do such would be more then anyone really cares to do. So as for now, it's capped at +/- 127.

More specifically, I don't know if this is a limit on the "container space" for karma in the database itself, or if YaBB is programmed to never let it get higher. I'd have to check both the DB schema and the source code for the boards to be sure. I could fix it either way, but that's so low on the list it doesn't even show up yet.

then you should at least make it so when you get 127 of a certain karma..you can no longer recieve karma..otherwise everyone here will eventually be at +127/-127
if it froze once you got to 127..that would give a good showing of your karma ratio.
you can put "fixing karma" on top of making the BS clan forums. i dont mind it at all.
