cant get in steam

STEAM WARNING
Steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers
happen all of a sudden...any help? it asks for my password and then I get this error

I imagine it's just steam acting up. I haven't been able to connect to Friends all week. Give it some time and it will probably work itself out.

DO NOT INPUT YOUR PASSWORD INTO STEAM UNLESS IT IS IN THE MAIN LOGIN SCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

some guy in a server i was in told me that 2 steam servers went off line and that there tring to get them up
