Steam UI Update

The full view is fugly. In fact, I'd rather rub my eyes with sandpaper than have to use that to launch cs. Fortuantly, there is a "mini-view", but its still pretty foul. I wish I could just go back to using my old skin.
And Steam Friends makes me laugh.

I always launch CS directly from HLSW. I never have to put up with any Steam-related UI other than the little black icon in my System Tray.
Seeing as my PC hasn't been on in two weeks, I haven't seen the new UI yet, but I am confident it is as horrible as SG says it is.

That would work assuming I only played on one server (ie blashphemy), but alas I have to find one with peopleon it.

i think that its a good concept, but its not done correctly..for instance its supposed to have a round appearance, but it comes off sqaure
it also needs a new font...and the edges on every window look awful as well

CS:S no longer works for me (and I assume HL2 is the same), although I suspect it has nothing to do with the updates.

Actually HLSW has good support for server lists; including monitor more than one server at a time, but whatever works. The only thing you really can't do with it is pull down a complete list of CS servers like the Steam browser can.

And that's the only thing I really want it to do. HLSW is still a pretty badass program for other things though.
