CS:Source Mapping - 'skyassault'

I'd like to start making (or help with - cus Im not very experienced in mapping) a new map for CS Source.
I am thinking that it should be classic gaming style map - with 2 main paths (forming a very rough circle) round to 4 hostages. I am thinking that a great design could be along the lines of a skyskraper under assault (ala Die Hard). I think it could become really popular.
Ideas: A). 2 floors useable (Ground level (Main door - only rescue point), (Third floor), and making lifts and stairs useable. (If lifts are too hard to do, the doors can be sealed - excuse being - the CTs disabled them to stop T's moving easily). B). Terrorists can he held up on the third floor with hostages. Spawn points located mostly on the third floor, but some on the stairs down to the Ground level (like a real Terrorist defence would be). C). The front glass around the main door on the ground floor could be shot out to gain access to the building.
Designs: I can start coming up with some plans if any of you are interested in this idea for a CSS map. Let me know what you think.

10 bucks animal quits trying to load cs hammer onto his computer. I got hammer for cs then took me 3 hours to set it up and then i gave up on it. Too much time, thats why I give credit to grounded and deuce for useing it.

| I couldn't get my map to complie either (well my crap box compiled but my only semi-serious attempt failed). As I recall, Deuce doesn't use hammer as he couldn't answer my question.

Quark is for hipster indie mappers who are striving to be different. Hammer is so easy it makes me cry.

hehe - you know this new hammer needs NO setting up?
I installed it, make a map, I check for errors, compile it, then slap the map into the CSS map folder - and bam - it works

You've probably tried this already, but have you uninstalled it and then reinstalled? I recall some part of the SDK wasn't opening for me at one point, so I just uninstalled/reinstalled it. I don't recall what the exact problem was because mapping isn't my thing.
