finished with a pretty decent score...

Quite a few servers run labassault and good time can be had. Unless of course admins give themselves weapons each round. Then they ban you for calling them jokes. Good times.
PTB is a joke. If the team score is say 12-2 it won't switch teams. It can never seem to find a target. Then you ask people to switch becasue you're the only one killing people and then they don't. More good times.
I don't know what any of that has to do with your post, but I thought I would throw that out there.

You didn't happen to bump into our old buddy "he who's name shall not be spoken" did you?
The AnB servers were supposedly his new home. I haven't seen or talked to him in the real world since the day after he stopped working here.

I have been playing there under a different name, since I heard that he had purchased admin privlages and had banned some of the csr crowd (toby, labete). He plays there in the afternoon alot, and sometimes he comes on late at night and talks about how wasted he is. My guess is that his personal life has not quite shaped up yet, but who am I to judge?
Its really a shame that he has to be like that, since they are good servers. I have been trying to find a good west-coast server that rolls custom maps, but have not had any luck with that yet.

Yeah, I had it in my favorites too. Until of course steam deleted them all, along with my config.
I pinged in the 80's so I never bothered to play there except that one time it switched to remy.

switching back on topic, i like labassault, and find it a much needed breath of fresh air to the normal assault remakes. it's still not perfect though, some of the oneway doors in the hostie room confused the dickens out of me for a really long time, but once you figure it out, it plays very well i believe.

I wouldn't put it past you seeing as monserant is a Character, although he has a rediculous russian accent as opposed to your rediculous scottish one and his ping is 1/627th of what yours would be.

The hossie room doors aren't one way, but there is a one way door that leads to the outside in the little side building. There are a few things I'd change - the hossie room is too hard to move around in and the scaling in the map is a bit off - the doors outside are way too big for example.
