Do you have your own website ? I guess so but didn't find any link in your profile page, would you be interested into making an affiliation between our both sites (to share banners) ? That would be great for me to have a mapper like you mentioned in my website ...

It's nothing but a compilation page of most of the maps I've made, and I'm not going to be expanding it any time soon. I suspect it gets very few visitors anyway... Thanks for the offer - if I ever get a mapper website up and running I'll let you know

I can't believe a guy who did such maps like you doesn't have his own website : if I was you, I would have something like www.grounded-omfgmaps.com, with links (the maps), affiliates (other good mappers), goodies (textures, models etc), a FAQ (why you did these maps, how etc) etc, that would be awesome !!  ...

It would be cool...but it would take a lot of work! Besides, I'm more interested in making maps than promoting them.

I understand, I would love myself to only spend my time on mapping, but the problem with CS is as it's an old community full of players who stick on maps like dust2, assault, iceworld etc, if you don't promote your map like hell, it is never played, you just got some "nice map" on some forums, some friends who put it on their servers and that's all, which is not fair in my opinion, that's why I am focusing now on promoting maps, to make my work more worthy, but it's at least as hard as to build a nice map  ...

You could post your map on www.lanmaniax.com or submit it to www.csm2.net if you're trying to promote it. But even if you do that you won't get many people to play it, that's just the way it is
