THE ULTIMATE MAP LIST VOLUME #1

Ok I see you got the uploader and all that, but I aint gonna waste my bandwidth on sending every custom map I got (not to mention you got a cap on the uploader).
So to make things EASIER on all of us, I am going to post two images, and three links (urls) to the top maps I have ever seen in cs. The two images are courtesy of my second hdd (all files can be gotten from me). The three urls are to three clan websites download sections for maps and map packs. I reccomend you check each and every one of them out. They all offer some very interesting maps....Btw these images are going to exceed the normal width border (sorry nothin I can do about it).
Ok Numero One is the list of already compressed .zips with complete directory trees intact out of my downloaded folder...
As you can see I have some maps that are not very well known. Cs_assault_nod was never added to csr, even though I hosted it for over a month when I was asked. It is a great replacement for stock, upc, winterassault, or even 1337_assault.....many other good maps there too. NOTE: not all files in this section are maps, some are for designing maps.
On to the next image, my cstrike/maps folder (btw I got a lot of uncommon .wad files to so if anyone is missing any wad files and having difficulty finding them pm or email me).....

As you can see my tasted in cs go from old school (siegeapc2 is siege 1.0 with the apc), to off the wall. I love my practice maps (ws_mac10, aim maps). As well as your average off the wall maps.
If any of the above two images contain any maps that you are interested in, let me know via post, I will set up my ftp server and create a login for one of the map admins, or we can hash out how to get them to you via email/pm.
Now on to the links....
8 ball clan is one of the oldest clans in cs. Its been around since I have (5 years), and have acquired a very decent map pack collection. To note, every one of the maps listed in this dl section have been modified with the correct player entity start points for up to 32 players (no worldspawns, W()()T!)...

Clan RIP is a veteran clan of cs, although I have only found their server and site recently (a few months back), I have gotten to know them and they have a very decent map section, good server too, and some interesting forums if your bored....as you can see though I cant upload the funpacks cause they exceed the limits.

bac-clan (aka Blood Angel Corps) is mine and D4M4G3S old clan (we were a part of it till summer of last year). I shouldnt post the link due to bad blood between me and the clans two owners (internal clan politics suck). I will just for the maps and the cs community.....But I will tell you up front, I was the leader of their cs division until politics got too shady for me and the rest of the original squad (the cs division is about 1/8th the size it was, full rosters in all sections {NA, NZ, AUS} the politics is why its dying). Do not mention my name if you go to their forums, the feeling is mutual between us, they hate me, and I hate them...but leech all the files you want. (sorry for the long windedness I just felt like telling you all about that).

Some of the maps in each of these sites (and my hdd) are the same, so if their bandwidth is better, feel free to get the maps from them instead of me. Just dont mention my name at the bac website. The past is best left in the past....

Custom maps are a bit of an issue around here currently. Keep the links and the files handy, but I think we need to work some things out before we add any more of them.

Stealth, got a Q, only a suggestion, but, or when, Merc is finished done with our webpage, maybe we should make a link or something to all your maps, so they whole clan have your accessibility of them. Or, could I just be a total ditz, and we already have had this discussion, and we are making them into like map packs... ?

Somethin like that smokey, Damage will be adding most if not all of the maps I have, and others. These maps are going into a HUMUNGOUS zip, ace, arc, exe file (like 200+ megs). The compiled file will be hosted and linked to from our website for people that wish to download it, once the site is finished, and our permanent server is up (soon bro soon).
Far as linking to my files directly, select people have ftp logins to my personal ftp server on this box (where these files are located). The directories these people have access to will have these files (or the compiled one) in it shortly.
As I stated above, I can host them but I am on a 128k upload cap (and if my isp finds out they will suspend my account).
So for now I am restricting use of my ftp to only friends/clan members/server owners that are interested in my maps. If you want the files and have some time, email me and let me know and I'll set up an ftp login for you. The ftp server is only up when I aint using the comp, but can be left on if you let me know in advance.

awesome good that the new permenant server is up, finally a place I like to practice... I use to get a group of buds with me and play on there with awps and all the weapons I dont ordinarly use...

LOL, thats not the permanent server....thats damages home cable connection, and that server is on his other comp.
I am workin on something for around the end of august, beginning of september that involves a 32 plyr server for the public, and a 12-16 man server for scrims/practices/etc. But depends how things go, and who all contributes towards it.
Not to mention Drain is incognito and is my business partner if we ever get financed for our business (then I can guarantee we will have two of the phattest servers in existence).
