WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
This is going to be a simple process we are going to try out to see if we can get more input into some of the maps we play each day.

WHAT MAPS ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
Each of the seven rotation days have one custom map and one classic map within the rest of the maps. We will be voting to change these.

WHAT IS A CUSTOM AND CLASSIC MAP?
A classic map is a map that used to be supported by Valve, but was dropped for various reasons. A custom map is a map made that is not supported by Valve.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS?
Every two weeks there will be a poll to have the community choose which classic or custom map is there least favorite. Along with casting a vote, please nominate a new map that you would like to see replace it. Once a week is up, the following week will be a poll to determine which nominated map will replace the voted out map. Polls will switch for classic and custom every two weeks.

OTHER INFORMATION:
Any custom map that is functionable and playable is allowed to be nominated. Classic maps can be found here.

This week, vote for a map to replace cs_futurcom. 3 map choices because of 3 map nominations last week.

I think if everyone played mill they would enjoy it.  It is a great map for both sides with multiple routes to the bomb sites.  The cts can push up if they want quick action and flank t's.  The t's can swarm the bomb sites with a bit of coordination coming up from different positions all converging on it at the same time. 

There are many places to boost for cts and plays very smart.  I'd suggest you all try it out as this map has been placed through the tests of leagues and is a great map.

if you are going to add clan1_mill u should also add de_comerade_3rdroute (it was a cal preseason map, at first i didn't like it but after you know the map it is great to play) along with de_cpl_fire are all good even maps

ok. polls are closed. a majority vote has de_clan1_mill replacing cs_futurcom on the wednesday rotation. We'll get it in as soon as we can get a new mappack for that day up. Expect a new vote for changing a classic map sometime next week (here's your chance all you APC haters  )

please keep in mind, just because we are adding in a league map THIS DOES NOT MEAN OUR SERVER IS A CAL SERVER. so keep your cal server suggestions to yourself please

Only finds bad gum. 

Good to see the map won though.  If I was still playing games then I would enjoy playing this map a ton.  I think many of you will really like the map once you get a feel for it.  The map will be much more enjoyable if you play with someone you know.  That way you can do boosts and attacks together that are what really makes this map great.  Also, cts you can really tear t's up by pushing quietly.

I would really like to see Thunder brought back as i think it is an old classic. Is there anyway to see all the maps that are on the server without d/l every days map pack?

Not at the moment, but I've been quietly working on a massive update of the website's internal structure, and the new mapcycle page is going to be pretty nifty. For the time being, you'll just have to be patient.

Good - last few times I've checked the mapcycle page it's given me the wrong day's rotation!

Plus it's not updated when we change the rotations. That's one of the things I fixed. The new version pulls the mapcycles straight from the game server when somebody asks for the mapcycle page. Plus, it'll let you see the rotations for any day of the week. It's a neat little bit of code if I do say so myself.

Now I just need to get it in place. The problem is that I'll have to bring the entire site down for at least a couple hours while I transition to the new backend and ensure everything is working as it should. As much as it's been down lately though, nobody should really notice if it's because of me or something else, so I suppose I should just go for it huh?
