HELP ME PLEASE!!! AND EXPLAIN CUZ IM NUB...

Ok, I have been trying to get my mouse problem situated... when I move my mouse back and forth... it gets glitchy and does what it wants to and doesn't follow me... i think this is called "Mouse Acceleration" and I have tried to get this problem situated but i just cant figure it out... any help is much appreciated... thanks

that sounds more like a bad surface
a) what mouse do you have
b) what type of surface are you mousing on

clean the pad off and see if that doesn't fix it.

Are you running Mouse Filter?? I've heard it can mess things up. Under options>mouse> Mouse Filter. I dunno, see what happens.

drake, we spoke about this in the server, it's your mouse.
if you don't have 50-60 bucks to spend, get a Logitech MX300, 30 dollars.

Hey with optical mice, it can also be the fact that you have to use single color mouse pads / surfaces. It sounds stupid, but remember the physics of what the mouse is doing. It's measuring the reflection of light off of a surface, that is going from black (a color which absorbs light) to white (something that reflects light, is bad).

I really just think it's the mouse Drake...I have a Microsoft Intelimouse Optical thinger and I figured it would be smooth and all, but it skips off randomly sorta like you described. I've played with Logitec mouses and I'd have to say they seem like the smoothest. I'd get one if I were you, I'm gonna in a week or two.
