Server verification failed

I get this error when I try to join servers now. Anyone else getting this?

i get that sometimes along with the "invalid steam userid ticket" thing.
try this: go to settings and click log out. this will end your session with steam. this will end your session with steam, and should fix the problem once you log back in..
on a side note, did anyone else see that little update about the shield exploit?

Two points:
You might also want to re-start Steam-- the server verification failed is usually a warning that something has been updated in Steam, and you need to get the update still.
I did indeed see the snippet about the shield exploit. I thought a couple people here were insisting the shield had already been fixed.

no it did not work i cant get in ... in other servers i get the same thing

Yeah, tried both things no results.
Porter by couple members you mean HH I don't think anyone else said the shield had been fixed.

Ok got it after restarting steam you have to make more then one attempt to connect to a server. That•s what worked for me
