Custom sprays

I've tried a dozen times now, and copied by spray .wads into ever folder in Steam I can think of, but for some reason I can't get my custom sprays back.
Help a stupid idiot with step by step direction, including visuals in crayon for bonus points.

You know ribs, I have tried my hardest to get this thing to work too... I had some great sprays, but each one I try doesnt work... I dont know what changed... Maybe a Steam update broke the custom sprays? Or is the server now not allowing custom sprays?

I believe Porter disabled custom sprays because we were having trouble with inappropriate sprays.

Not so much inappropriate but rather that they have been a recurring cause of frequent server crashes for a long time now. Valve keeps saying they've fixed them, but people continue to have problems. Small price to pay for any added stability.

You need to rename the wad from pldecal.wad to tempdecal.wad and put it in the cstrike directory of Steam

You need to rename the wad from pldecal.wad to tempdecal.wad and put it in the cstrike directory of Steam

...at which point it will work everywhere but CSR.

you also have to make sure the size of the spray isn't to big, it has to be under a certain size and a certain with and lenght of the spray in pixles to show up
