Create your logo as you normally would with Wally, then copy the pldecal.wad that it creates and rename it as tempdecal.wad before placing in your Steam cstrike directory.

The Fusion pack replaces the menu background but I can't find any info on how it's done, especially since everything gets packed up in a .gcf in Steam

i believe you go to control panel -> add/remove programs -> steam to solve any current and future problems with Steam

The fusion pack is a piece of shit. It's ugly, the sounds suck, and it screws a lot of things up. The chat won't display (all that comes up is something like #CS Say All or something like that). It changed my homepage. The one good change it made was the steam background. Avoid it like the bubonic plague.

When i first started i had fusion pack and it was amazingly good/sweet. that was before steam though!

I wasn't recommending it - I was just saying it changes the background, so it's do-able.

You can extract the gcf using GCFScape as far as I understand. It's only a txt file from what I've read. Then you can edit it I guess

GCFScape doesn't work without a specific Windows update thingy which was massive and I couldn't be bothered downloading. I will do at some point, probably.
