Looks very good...although DVI is probably a better interface than this:

Interfaces - 1 x VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15)

However, its not a big difference.  Performance wise, you should be careful.  The default resolution of that monitor is 1280x1024, if your video card cant handle that, then LCD might not be the way to go.

For $150, that seems like the way to go, assuming your video card can crank out that resolution alright.

It *is* a big deal (well, not huge, but I'd hate to see Skip waste his money). The difference between this model and one that uses DVI is probably less than $20 for one thing, but the signal IS tons better. Read this.

Bottom line, don't get and LCD without DVI.

as far as I understand though skip, regardless of porter's DVI soapbox (which will only make a difference if your graphics card can supporter DVI) is the hertz thing.  Your monitor is claiming that it can run that resolution at 75Hz, again, assuming your gpu can handle that without an issue (i think most can now days), it should more then suffice to at least play CS on.

Porter is right, DVI is something that you want to look for, if you can get a  similar monitor for a similar price with DVI and your gpu supports it, i'd splurge the $20 to get dvi.
