programming language: java

I would like to ask anyone with just a little knowlenge of programming in java for help- I've begun learning java, but there are some terms I don't understand - InputStream and OutputStream - I've been reading about almost all day, and still I don't understand.. 
anyway there's proberbly alot more issues like this coming from me in this topic

Ask Grail... he was in this course called Computer Science AP, and he learned C++ and Java I believe, so he might be able to help yeah, I'll tell him to post soon as he wakes up and before we leave... if he does post lol

lol, Smokey, 2 things... first, I didnt learn C++... second, I really didnt learn a whole lot of Java... I learned teh basics and thats about it... Sorry LG, Im not exactly sure what those are used for... I could, however, give you an email of someone Im pretty sure will know what that is. If you would like, just PM me.
