Is there any way that when we go into the forum we can see all the new posts without having 2 go to every section to see if there is any new post?

umm... the five newest posts are posted on the right hand side of the page... other than that... you have to find it in the forums section...

that would be a negative.
there is one more way to see the newest posts:
http://www.csreloaded.com/yabbse/index.php?action=recent
shows the 10 most recent posts.

doesn't this mean that a textfile must be created for every single user, containing individual info?? I'm not much into this kind of computer issues, but to me it sounds like lots of work...

No it•s like a script that when a user logs in it looks at the last time the user was in the forum and makes a list of the new post.

Well, other than the front page (which shows the latest 5 posts) and the link that Deuce provided, that's about it I think. YaBB SE already tracks which threads you've read and which you haven't, so in theory it would be possible to compile a page that showed you ALL your new posts at once. Mind you, that would take some PHP coding to do though.
What good would seeing only the new posts without the rest of their threads be anyway though?
