My Connection Problem

Whenever I try to connect to the server it says "Lan servers are restricted to local clients (Class C)" something like that and Graill is on the computer RIGHT beside me and it wont work

I had the same problem once...I think I went around it by typing connect ip in the console (can't remember excactly...there's been so many problems with my computer  )...you can try, but I doubt that'll help...

That message means you are using CS 1.5 to try to connect to a CS 1.6 server. You need to download and install Steam.

Im courious how long has it been since you reformatted your computer? mabey its just me but try doing that it did help my cs when i reformatted mine awhile back....

Ask Grail... too many bad memories... I remember I was doing the good for the computer, then I accidentally deleted the sound driver and card, and WHOA I guess we had to re-format, I never touch or delete anything anymore lol

Someone else I recently knew had this exact same issue. They attempted to reinstall steam *new issues occured where the client wouldn't even open*. Had him reinstall CS and steam and now he can play no problem.

close all steam menus, then right click on your icon try, and exit steam.
then start up steam again..should work
Invalid Steam UserID Ticket means you were disconnected from steam..and all you have to do is just reconnect.

Fixed.... I forgot to push "the done" button, and I guess it wouldn't allow me to play, something that simple... for 3 1/2 weeks... imagine how mad I was ! lol
