democratic map vote plugin

There is a plugin on am scripts site that gives the clients a choice of 5 maps to vote on for next map during the last 5 minutes of a map. Anyway to see this plugin on csr?

i am in favor of this. i believe it was suggested by scappy doo (before i could suggest it). but i like this idea b/c it is what the groupd of people in the server feel like playing next, not whats in teh map rotation. if the majority of the people have voted for the map that is to come next, then they'll stay and keep the server full longer which is what we want. i am in high support of this addition.

Can you be more specific Stealth? There are over a hundred plugins listed on AdminMod's AScript site, and more than one of them concern map voting. We're usually game to add anything regulars request to the server, but we need to know where to find it first.  This one sounds okay to me, as long as it is user-initiated and not started automatically at the end of each map. (Unless everybody would prefer that.)

The map management plugin is a replacement for the both the counter-strike native map voting system, and the two map voting systems shipped with adminmod. It includes most of the features found in other similar plugins currently available, and some that are unique. It operates in two modes:
Every server has a time limit setting after which the map is normally changed. In voting mode, this plugin prevents that map change occuring and instead displays a menu of 2-8 map names from which players can choose the next map.
In cycling mode, it allows the map change to occur, but announces it before hand, and synchronises the change to occur at the end of the current round instead of the instant the timer expires

This plugin will bring up a vote for 5 random maps at the end of the round or when someone says 'rockthevote', etc., instead of open voting. You may also specify maps to be included in the vote. This is a direct replacement for plugin_hldsld_mapvote.sma. It will use all of the cvar settings for that plugin. It is highly recommended you remove that plugin if you are running this one.

Leeched from adminmod site....either one of those two plugins work good far as I know. I used the second one mostly, to give my clients a choice so they would hang around longer.
Oh and for voting weapons (eg: rifles, pistols, or shotties) this rewritten democracy plugin....

This is replacement for plugin_democracy that includes voting and status for shotguns only, smgs only, and rifles only though rifles only restarts the round and sets mp_Startmoney to 16000 so people have enough money for it).
