suggestion?

i think that the CSR clans should compete in a little tourment
like
wumpa vs guh or watever
and the clans could sign up and admins could arrange the time and date for matchs like every friday night around 7
i think it would be a good turn out and very cool to see how other clans scrim. it would also be self-rewarding seeing players weakpoints and strong points.
This would not only attract more players into coming to csr it would also have a major impact on the skill level players play at. Of course this will be fun and not taken seriously.
the same rules should apply as any real scrim or match.
Also same rules for the server will apply and be in effect.

Sounds like a great idea and it would improve the play of the players playing. I'm on a roll tonight. Though due to the lack of a clan, I'd just have to be ringer and pretend....

mints the idea has already been used in csreview, if i rember correctly. I also brought it up during the admin game, i think it would be a great idea, i would definately like to take on some clans that play at csr

well..all we gotta do is make a site and put the CSR admins incharge of it as well...and put the link on the home site OR add the page to this and have list of clans willing to battle it out. Sense this is an kid server (when i mean kid i mean no swearing) so it pertains to kids who play here and everyone in general. It would have to be free no one would be able to pay for the matches or anything cause MOST of us are around the ages of 12-20
another IDEA is that we could have a priv server for CSR
10 man and this would allow us to have the scrims
but the server would indeed cost money.
If we need to purchase an additional csr server i have a possible answer to that. IF necssary

couple problems i see..
theres not enough clans. because there arent enough clans, people will make new ones..and the basis of those new clans will be to win..not because of the whole clan idea.
time issue: combine lack of clans with people needing to cancel last minute = lots of cancellations
servers are not an issue. icabbit and guardian server would both be capable enough.
maybe if you made it 3v3 it could work. i know justboy mentioned to me once how he's always wanted to try a 2v2 tourney. maybe this is something fotty and i can do for the end of the month special event thing someone suggested.
smaller teams = more managable = more unique for the server
