I know there's a link somewhere to a list of what maps are ON the server...could Ryo or Porter put a link to this list on the map stats page or somewhere easy to find?

It was on the mapcycle page. We were having some issues with RG and I believe Ryo took it down. We'll see about getting it back up.

Cant upload either, site keeps timing out....

Takes more then 30 seconds to upload a map...BTW, that 3.5M limit u got set, most maps have wads that are bigger then that just so you know....

By the way, we don't have umlimited space on RG's webservers. The limit is there for a reason-- partly because of the execution time restraint. But thank you for once again pointing out the blatently obvious. 
As for the timeout, we've been seeing a lot of that lately: Read the news on the front page of the site.

You get 2 gigs right? on the ftp?
Thats like 400 maps. 10 or 15 6.5 meg maps wont throw you over that. Maybe have the map submission to one of your emails (one that has a 10 meg limit like mine does on adelphia.net). Use it only for maps, and check it often so the mailbox storage limit dont get exceeded. Test the maps and if you want em, put em on the server, and if you dont.....delete em.

Unlimited space actually, but RG "requests" you keep it under 100MB unless you have a good reason. CSR is a popular site with plenty of reason to use as much as we need, and on top of that we're not abusing it by having tons of huge downloads available, but I wouldn't want to push my luck.
