Map Time

Is is just me, or is the map time for FY_pool_day set to 40 minutes, normal maps to a lower amount of time. I like to play the odd maps to break stuff up, but it was much tooooooo long a stretch...if the deathmatch maps could be shortened to 15 minutes until the next mapvote.

and regular maps back to 30 maybe, I'm sick of a couple times of how rats has been on for 70 mins...

Yes plz
I very much agree that the serious maps (if your excuse the phrase) should be given more time, and the 'light relief' ones much less.

I'm trying to figure out how to do this, but what they tell me in the manual isn't working. I think its flawed and think I know why. Gimme some more time to work on issues such as this.

Sorry I didnt mean for you to rush or anything, it would be nice thats all, we are all grown up we can live without it, because its only a minor thing in balancing the maps Relax, take a week off, and have a cookie and some milk

hehe.. this is actually my week to work. My roomates (all of them) are gone for the week. Even the dog is gone. So I should be able to get work done and have very few distractions... other then my sister having her first baby.

Fallback idea:
http://hlmapconf.sourceforge.net (you'll have to pull the file from anon-cvs: I haven't managed to get around to publishing a package for it yet.)
You can generate per-map config files that will restrict map time. Don't know if Blatt will override them though.

Blatt already has per map config files. Unfortunatly this is where their manual is messed up. I did what it said, but it failed. I have a few ideas left to try though.

Yeah, HL MapConf is just a tool to aid in creating batches of config files quickly.
Per-map config files are actually a feature of AdminMod as a whole (or perhaps built-in to HLDS.)
