I was looking threw the forum and same people what to reset the HLStats and I just want to know what every one thinks?
P.S
I•m referring to the player status page.

Well if you look at the player stats page you will see that the players kills, death•s and points our not of the last 30 days only the maps they play in and what weapons they use our of the last 30 days.

HLStats is entirely cumulative, except for the Event History (which lasts 30 days). Every kill you ever get with any weapon against any other player is recorded (as long as at least 4 people are in-game). I see no important reason to reset the stats. 90% of those people who have asked for a reset asked without understanding how it operates to begin with.

Well can you explain how it works so the 90% can be a 0% and we can have accurate vote results.

So like I said, I can't see any pressing reason to reset HLStats. Nothing is wrong with it at the moment, and you'll probably annoy a great many people who are working on being the top player with a certain weapon or on a certain map with we reset it.

not trying to sound rude or anything, but I just don't get it. What did you want to accomplish with resetting the stats page anyway? Are you concerned with comparing yourself to other player's stats? I just have never seen the issue here, nor seen the validity behind the complaint.
PS - Thanks for the article Porter, if no one else tells you, I enjoy learning things like that.
