Write Valve. You legitimately bought the game, contact them (phone, email, etc.) and tell them you were playing your game fine, then one day all of a sudden your computer told you your cd key was invalid (or is it that too many people are using the cd key?). Anyways, tell them that you are the legitimate owner, give them the purchase info (store, aproximate date, purchase price, name if registered, etc.). They will give you a NEW cd key. And BAN the old one (somehow cd keys determine wonids eg: the kid who stole his cdkey has his wonid, but he is actually a 4th registered user of that cd key, not the third {valve only issues 3 cdkeys in circulation}). I've seen it done a lot, especially when joolz cd key stealer was rampant in the cs community.....
